Our specialization at La Belle Maison by A’memi is what we call Antique Chic Château® ~ le style A’memi, a pleasing mix of French Country comfort and charm, English romanticism with its polished details along with Southern grace and refinement, with more or less use of lace as your taste dictates. More straightforwardly, it’s the look of an elaborate Rococo-period French château combined with the rusticity and charm of a Provençal mas, using a mix of antique and reproduction French furniture, a touch of English romanticism coupled with the elegance and ethereal qualities of the Old South.
For le style A’memi to be successful things cannot appear to be too new, they need a time-worn, lived in for many generations look ~ French, English and Old Southern families always layered their furnishings one generation upon another. Combine their ideology, the blending of old and new, with refined and detailed elegance, add just a touch of time-worn antique chic...et voilà, le style A’memi ~ you have a home that is warm, inviting, graceful, comfortable and full of charm ~ a home that always greets guests as if they are family ~ a home that speaks French with a soft Southern accent.
